Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for operating excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks to support residential and commercial site work projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and works well within a crew environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for removing concrete, digging, trenching, grading, lifting, and material handling

• Operate additional equipment as needed, including skid steers and loaders

• Drive dump trucks as required (CDL A required)

• Perform daily equipment inspections before and after use

• Assist with site preparation, grading, backfilling, and general construction tasks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

• Follow all company safety standards and job site protocols

• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to keep projects running efficiently

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience operating excavators in a concrete and construction environment

• Valid CDL A license required

• Experience operating skid steers, crawlers, and similar equipment

• Strong understanding of excavation, grading, and site preparation

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify maintenance needs

• Familiarity with CAT equipment or similar brands preferred

• Must have reliable transportation to work

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Job Overview

DiBucci and Sons is hiring a Full-Time Concrete Finisher in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants steady work, strong pay, and a long-term opportunity with a company that values reliability and skill.

Your essential role is to mix, pour, and finish concrete for various construction projects such as sidewalks, driveways, steps, patios, and retaining walls.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Form, pour, finish, and cure concrete for sidewalks, driveways, patios, steps, and retaining walls

• Build and set wood or plastic forms

• Mix, spread, and monitor concrete during the curing process

• Follow safety standards and jobsite best practices

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• At least 2 year experience as a cement finisher in the construction or concrete industry

• Must have reliable transportation to work

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
